Last minute gift ideas

I feel like it was September two seconds ago! I feel like I've really run out of time this festive season so if you are like me, take advantage of some of my top pressie options below to save you some time!

Voucher options
Vouchers don't need to be boring. I love receiving a voucher for an experience like a spa or afternoon tea. I've reviewed & tried out lots of places this year. My go to for when I am stressed is the stunning Harper Beauty located in Helen's Bay. I had a full body Yonka Treatment there recently and it was stunning. I also loved a recent visit to Spa Experience* at the Olympia Gym on the Boucher Road. If you know someone who goes to that gym or classes there, it's a great option to treat them to a back massage (mine was great!) or facial.

For afternoon tea, my 2019 obsession has been Cafe Parisien. I love that it faces City Hall. I love the decor and the staff! A voucher for afternoon tea here would make a great girl's day out.

I also find practical vouchers are a joy. If someone was to buy me half a dozen blowdries or a course of laser hair removal, I would literally jump for joy. For blowdries I love my girl Rebecca at Rebecca's Hair Studio where I go for my monthly colour - she does the best big hair that lasts for days! For laser (and my skin peels!), I go to Beyond Skin Clinic who have just won Irish Aesthetic Clinic of the Year! A voucher for a course of laser is an amazing treat for someone or if they need a little skin boost, I recently enjoyed the Winter Cranberry Facial* which was amazing!!

2019 was the year of the pedicure for me and I frequented Sistine in Hollywood many a time. I love the girls for a good chat and a good cuppa as much as I like getting my feet done on the magical thrones they have!

Beauty bits
2019 has been a year where I've tried more new beauty bits than ever! My go to tan is He Shi and their Christmas gift set is fab. I was lucky enough to work with the brand and fell even more in love! I also love everything IT Cosmetics which you can now get online at Boots.

For skincare, Pestle and Mortar has been a staple of mine as has new brand The Inkey List. For makeup, anything from Charlotte Tilbury is always a winner - particularly the eye shadow sticks or brow gel, plus their packaging looks amazing under your tree!

For stocking fillers, I love all things Wet and Wild but particularly their highlighters and eyeshadow palettes - all under £10!

Support local
It's great to give back to small local businesses. Whether it's a Field Day candle or a piece of Lines & Current jewellery, there's so many great brands that you can incorporate into your festive gifting. I found Newcastle boutique Sambie Lee a joy to visit for great curated fashion this year. If all else fails, my good old faithful Avoca never lets me down.

Whatever you get up to this Christmas, remember it's who is around the tree and not what is under it that matters.

Wishing you all a great, restful festive season.
