Flower Power

The weather lately has been such a mood lifter. I am naturally a "winter clothes" person - I suppose it comes from being quite body conscious and loving to cover up. However, I spotted this dress a few weeks ago in Mango Victoria Square and I fell in love. I've picked up quite a few things in Mango lately. In my teens I was a big Mango fan - I don't know why I stopped shopping there! I've had such a rethink about my style lately too. I used to be very unafraid of fashion but over the past year or so, I feel like my style has become quite plain and simple. I veered away from prints and more fun items. I used to always buy really unique pieces when I was younger - I loved the sense of knowing that not many people would be wearing something. I really want to start getting back into boutique shopping and finding those unique pieces again.

This dress seems to have sold out online but definitely head to Mango for a look. They have so many great pieces in at the moment - stunning maxi dresses and cool skirts that would be perfect for a wedding or christening. I know I'll be wearing this dress all summer!

My shoes are wedges from Next. These again were a recent purchase and at £45, the comfort they provide is well worth the money. They have a cork type sole that is really squishy and comfortable meaning they would be great for holiday, walking around town or a night out. I'm looking forward to styling these up over the next few months too!
