Unify at Stormont

Stormont all set up for the showcase
I love supporting the Northern Ireland fashion scene so when the opportunity arose to go to the Unify showcase in the stunning Stormont Parliament Buildings, I jumped at the chance. Unify are a group of designers in Northern Ireland who share a production space and like to exhibit together. I was very taken with some of the designs and I was very impressed by the 2nd and 3rd year students from Belfast Metropolitan College. Well done to all involved and good on the MLA Basil McCrea for taking an interest in Unify and allowing them to exhibit at Stormont.

Now for what I wore.... The dress code was actually "black tie" but as I had previously worn a very long dress for  my formal last week, I felt compelled to wear a shorter dress. I wore a purple dress with sleeves by Kardashian Kollection for Dorothy Perkins. I got it in the sale at Christmas for £18! It's very comfy to wear and a good length considering I'm 5ft 10! I teamed it with my favourite Zara shoes, a clutch from H&M and Topshop earrings.

I went with a gold smokey eye for my makeup and centred parted hair pulled back into a bun (courtesy of 8 pairs of extensions!!). It also required a lot of kirby grips as you can see below!

Overall, a great Saturday night out! Well done Unify and thanks to CMPR for the invite.
